What happened in Sialkot on Friday is beyond human imagination.
The nation has been in an uproar with guilt and shame over the cold-blooded killing of a Srilankan national who was working as the factory manager in Sialkot.
The factory manager Priyantha Kumara was beaten to death and set ablaze by a mob in Sialkot on blasphemy allegations on Friday.
Following the horrible incident, condemnation messages are pouring in on social media as government vows to punish the culprit.
Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the lynching of a Sri Lankan national in Sialkot on Friday, calling it “a day of shame for Pakistan.”
“The horrific vigilante attack on a factory in Sialkot & the burning alive of Sri Lankan manager is a day of shame for Pakistan. I am overseeing the investigations & let there be no mistake all those responsible will be punished with the full severity of the law. Arrests are in progress,” PM Imran Khan tweeted.

Special Representative to Prime Minister on Religious Harmony, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi decried the incident as an “inhumane” one, saying that his heart has been “wounded” by the incident.
“Those involved in this incident neither did a service to Pakistan nor Islam. In fact, they have gone against the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).”
CM Punjab Usman Buzdar said, “I am extremely shocked at the horrific Sialkot incident. I have instructed IG Police to thoroughly investigate it. No one is allowed to take the law into their hands. Rest assured, individuals involved in this inhumane act will not be spared!!”
