Sindh announces a change in schools’ opening timing amid severe cold!

The Sindh Education Department on Thursday made changes to the opening hours of schools due to severe cold.

In the order issued by the education department, it is said that due to winter, schools will be opened at 8:30 am.

An order has been issued to change the timings of schools due to the extreme cold.

In this regard, Additional Director Registration of Directorate Inspection and Registration Private School Rafia Javed has also issued an order.

According to a notification, the morning shift for all primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools will commence at 8:30 am.

The rescheduled timings will remain in effect till March 31, the notification said.

A cold wave is likely to continue across Sindh till January 29 with night temperatures further falling by 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, the Met department said on Thursday.
