Sindh government has made pink bus service free for women for 2 months!
The Sindh government inaugurated two new routes of women-only pink bus service in Karachi and also announced free travel for two months.
Member of Sindh Assembly of People’s Party Faryal Talpur inaugurated the new routes ‘R3’ and ‘R9’ of women’s pink bus service.
R-3 route will run buses from Powerhouse from Chowrangi North Karachi to Nasir Jump Korangi and the other route R-Nine is from Gulshan-e-Hadid to Tower.
A total of ten new pink buses are being operated on both the newly inaugurated routes.
In the ceremony, Faryal Talpur also gave licenses to four women drivers of Pink Bus Service.
Sindh Minister for Transport and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, introduced two new routes for the Pink People’s Bus Service in Karachi on April 19.
Currently, the Pink Bus Service operates along the R1 route, linking Model Colony Malir to Tower via Shahrah-e-Faisal.
