SSGC consumers in Sindh and Balochistan will only have access to gas for 13 hours during Ramadan as per the company’s announcement.
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Thursday announced the gas supply for the holy month of Ramadan for its already “load-shedding marred” consumers.
The SSGC in a statement said that it would only be able to provide gas between 3:00 am to 9:00 am (Sahar) and 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Iftaar) during Ramadan.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has directed the electricity distribution companies to not carry out load-shedding during Sahar and Iftar timings.
The directives from CM Sindh came during a meeting held under his chair on price control during Ramadan.
CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah directed that there should be no load-shedding during Sahar and Iftar in the entire province during Ramadan.
He directed K-Electric, HESCO and SEPCO to maintain the electricity supply during the holy month.
