Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto also arrived at Islamabad’s H-9 park ground to address the Azadi March’s crowd on Friday, where he heavily criticized the PTI government.
Addressing the huge crowd of the Azadi March, Bilawal Bhutto said that the people of Pakistan only believe in democracy.
While alleging the incumbent as the selected ones one more time, Bilawal said that transparent elections cannot be held in Pakistan even after 70 years saying that PPP’s polling agents were thrown out from polling stations during the General Elections 2018.
He said that the “selected” government is putting pressure on the nation and people are being ‘economically murdered’ with the help of excessive taxes and raging inflation ever since the PTI government came.
Earlier, the chairman PPP said the nation won’t accept any ‘selected’ or ‘puppet’ prime minister and it was time for Prime Minister Imran Khan to go home.
While addressing the march in Islamabad he said, “The people of this country won’t accept any selected or puppet premier nor are they willing to surrender to any dictator”.
He said the people of Pakistan only want democracy and freedom from “puppets”, “selected” and “the selectors” adding that the performance of the selected government, after the lapse of one year, is visible to everyone.
He said the puppet government has no consideration for the people of Pakistan.
Bilawal said puppet governments are not elected by people’s vote, instead, they took to power because of someone else, hence they pay heed to their selectors, not the masses.
Bilawal further said that attacks were being launched at democracy for which the political parties suffered a lot and the rights of the people are being usurped.
The PPP leader said that all the political parties are on one page, have given the message that the ‘selected’ Imran Khan will have to go home now.
