Veteran actress Roohi Bano passes away

Veteran Pakistani actress Roohi Bano passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness. As being reported she was suffering from kidney failure and had a long history of schizophrenia.

She passed away in Istanbul, Turkey where she was admitted in hospital for medical treatment.  The news was confirmed by her sister. Roohi Bano was on the ventilator from past 10 days.

Roohi Bano was a well-educated person having 3 masters degrees and a presidential award-winning actress. but she had a tough and struggling life. She had faced several issues in her marital life and her only son, Ali, was also murdered. Which caused a great set back to her mental condition.

It was earlier in Nov 2018, when Roohi Bano went missing from Lahore was found at her brother’s house. It was confirmed by her sister Rubina later. After seeing the news on media, her sister had said that Bano goes to Fountain House for her treatments and was at her brother’s house.

A lost soul will be finally laid to rest. May Almighty bless her soul in her eternal journey. The celebrity star struggled throughout her life. she was invited to many television shows lately mainly highlighting her tragic life but nothing was done for her to make her living conditions better.
