Word Cup T20: Australia vs England match abandoned amid rain in Melbourne

Earlier, the match between Afghanistan and Ireland was also affected by rain due to which both teams were given one point each

Australia vs England Match has been abandoned amid rain in Melbourne on Friday.

Bad news for cricket fans, the highly-anticipated contest between Australia and England has been abandoned without a ball bowled.

As reported, owing to the weather conditions both the T20 World Cup matches were not played today.

Earlier, the match between Afghanistan and Ireland was also affected by rain due to which both teams were given one point.

Following the decision to cancelation the match between England and Australia, now one point has been given to the each team as well.
