Novak Djokovic reached his ninth Wimbledon final with a straight-sets victory against Italian Jannik Sinner on Friday.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic defeated 8th seed Jannik Sinner by 6-3 6-4 6-6 (6-4).
The victory ensured the 36-year-old Serb tennis star reached a record-breaking 35th grand slam final surpassing Chris Evert’s landmark.
Djokovic will now face either Carlos Alcaraz or Daniil Medvedev in Sunday’s final.
Djokovic is an overwhelming favorite to win a record-extending 24th grand slam title no matter who will be his opponent, not least because he’s already won the Australian Open and the French Open in 2023.
