Naseem Shah is recovering after ‘successful’ shoulder surgery!
Pakistan fact pacer underwent successful surgery to treat his shoulder injury on Wednesday in London.
The operation lasted for approximately half an hour, and Naseem Shah is now on the path to recovery.
As reported, Shah has been advised rest of four to six weeks and will start bowling after completing his rehab.
After gaining consciousness, Naseem Shah updated fans on his health and thanked them for the prayer.
“Alhamdulillah! I am feeling well now. Thanks for your prayers,” Naseem wrote while sharing the latest photo from the hospital bed.
Moghees Sheikh, his manager, also shared the update about Shah’s surgery on X-Xplatform, formerly Twitter, saying that the fast bowler is in high spirits after the minor shoulder procedure.
“Please remember him in your prayers. He will be in action soon inshallah,” he added.
There is a clip doing rounds on social media showing Naseem Shah crying while remembering his mother after his surgery.
Shah suffered an injury to a muscle just below his bowling shoulder last month during Pakistan’s second game against India at the Asia Cup 2023.
Unfortunately, Naseem Shah is likely to remain out of action for at least three to four months.
