New Zealand has set a massive target of 402 runs for Pakistan in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match being played at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, on Saturday.

Pakistan put New Zealand to bat first after winning the toss in the must-win match to stay alive in the World Cup 2023.

However, the decision by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam seems to have gone in the wrong direction.

Batter Rachin Ravindra becomes the first debutant and first New Zealand player to score three centuries in the World Cup edition.

Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi’s 0/90 is now the worst-ever figure by any Pakistan bowler in World Cup history.

While Haris Rauf proved to be second worst, with 85/1 in 10 overs.

Pakistan needs to chase down 402 runs in 35.3 overs to surpass New Zealand’s NRR today.
