Pakistan suffers another humiliating defeat against New Zealand

Pakistan suffered another humiliating defeat against New Zealand in the fourth T20 match on Friday in Christchurch.

The hosts beat the visiting side by seven wickets leading towards a series white-wash.

Kiwi’s Glenn Phillips and Daryl Mitchell put on a match-winning partnership of 139 runs in 93 balls to get their side to achieve the target with 11 balls to spare.

New Zealand won the toss and put Pakistan to bat first in the fourth T20I.

While Mohammad Rizwan’s unbeaten 90 runs, with the help of six fours and two sixes, went useless as Pakistan set New Zealand a target of 159 runs.

Mohammad Nawaz scored 21 runs in nine balls, which included three consecutive sixes off pacer Adam Milne in the penultimate over of the innings.

Babar Azam scored 19 runs in 11 balls.

He added 51 runs in 31 balls for the second wicket partnership with Rizwan.

The Black Caps bowled with discipline, led by seamers Matt Henry (2-22) and Lockie Ferguson (2-27).

For the fourth match of the series, Pakistan made a solitary change, introducing middle-order batter Sahibzada Farhan in place of Azam Khan.
