The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” is finally out!

Amidst a lot of controversies, Bollywood’s upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’s trailer is finally out. Kangana Ranaut is all set to play the role of Queen Laximibai in the upcoming period film and she has supposedly nailed it.

From the trailer, the film looks grand in which Kangana has totally aced the action sequences. It shows her fighting with the sword and riding the horse brilliantly. The trailer video begins with voice of Amitabh Bachchan.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film tells the story of the worrier queen and her campaign against the East India Company in the revolt of 1857.

Kangana has been into the news with her upcoming film for all the wrong reasons, despite the fact that her performance looks brilliant in this new trailer. It was reported few months that Kangana had taken the charge to shoot the patch up scenes of the film as film director Krish was busy with the shoot of the upcoming NTR biopic.

Actor Sonu Sood, who was supposed to play the role of Sadashiv in the movie also left the project due to the re-shoots and scheduling issues. Not just him, but actress Swati Semwal also left the project mid-way because of the re-shoots.

The film is helmed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish). However, Kangana has also directed a few portions of the film. Co-produced by Kamal Jain, film is slated for 25th January 2019 release.
