Mumbai Police registers case against MLA's son

Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam is reported to be manhandled by Shiv Sena extremists at a music festival!

Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar’s son Swapnil is reported to have been identified as one of the accused involved in an attack on Sonu Nigam and his team in Mumbai.

“After the concert, I was coming down from the stage when a man Swapnil Prakash Phaterpekar held me. Then he pushed Hari & Rabbani who came to save me. Then I fell on the steps. I filed a complaint so that people should think about forcefully taking selfies & causing a scuffle,” Sonu Nigam said while talking to the media.

 

Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has registered a case against MLA’s son.

On the other hand, Swapnil’s sister Suprada has apologised to the singer.

“My brother was trying to take a selfie with [Nigam]. Due to the rush & furore, there was a commotion that ensued…Nigam is unhurt,” she said in a tweet.
