Celebrities attend Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony

Many celebrities belonging to various genres attended the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan at President House in Islamabad. The moments of their presence were shared thorough various social media accounts.

PTI’s supporter, singer Salman Ahmed shared his invitation to the official ceremony. While we wait to see his photos from the ceremony in Islamabad.

Everyone was keen to see former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, present at the ceremony who was specially invited by Imran Khan to attend the oath taking ceremony being his former pal at the cricket ground. Though other invited Indian cricketers couldn’t make it because of their prior engagements.

 

Renowned media person Jasmeen Manzoor shared some photos, being present at the event. Javed Miandad and Waseem Akram can be spotted in these photos.

Stars from 1992 World Cup, flocked to the oath taking  ceremony to express their support for newly elected PM Imran Khan.

 

The Pakistani cricketer-turned-commentator Rameez Raja, was also invited at the oath taking ceremony.

Former Pakistani skipper Javed Miandad was also present at the event, he tweeted about the oath taking ceremony of Imran Khan as PM.

Singer turned politican Abrar-ul-Haq was also present at the occasion, he tweeted his wishes, a day ahead for his leader.

ARY’s  CEO, Salman Iqbal, PeshawerZalmi’s owner Jawed Afridi and actor-director Javed Sheikh were also present at the occasion.
