Pakistani star singer Atif Aslam has time and again proven his mettle in Bollywood with more than a few hit songs. From Wo Lamhey to Dil Di Aan Gallaan, Adee has giving a long list of romantic numbers to Indian movies and fans on both sides of the border love him.
While on one hand Atif recently won the much deserved “Best Playback Singer” at LSA 2019 in Pakistan, it is in neighboring country that he is deeply missed by his fans due to the ban on Pakistani artists.
Recently a fan took to Twitter and reminisced about Atif’s soulful voice.
“Please unban Atif Aslam, He’s an amazing artist & as well as good human being. We want Atif songs in Bollywood,” the fan said.
In response to the fan’s tweet, Indian singer Amaal Mallik also reciprocated the same demand.
“Miss this guy’s voice in Bollywood,” wrote the singer.
Well we do hope that Indian government is able to look beyond conflicts and grants their people the melodious and evergreen voice of Atif again. Till then, Indians can miss ‘Wo Lamhey’.
