Khalil ur Rehman Qamar Served Savagely Trying to Cash in on Motorway Incident

Remember Khalilur Rehman Qamar? Yes the same writer of Mere Pas Tum Ho who conveniently accused Aurat March of corrupting women, feminists those who are frustrated and twisted individuals and passed the decree for women to stay at home to be termed ‘good women’.

Yes the same infamous writer and avid critic of women’s rights (while claiming he isn’t) has now upped his game and switch sides to cash in on the most horrific crime in recent days as he attended a protest against Motorway gang rape.

But it wasn’t so easy for the regressive writer to get his two seconds of fame as he began his speech to media and was immediately called out by member of civil society Husnain Jamil Faridi.

“I proudly bash this hypocrite, dual and ignorant misogynist who constantly negates the genuine issues of women. He is convicted in body shaming, misleading people. I confronted him with the word ‘Ap’ (which he doesn’t deserve) but Just check the language of this jerk,” tweeted Faridi after a clip of the heated exchange went viral on Twitter.

Netizens were quick to laud Faridi all the while savagely roasting Qamar who earlier made it to news for abusing Marvi Sirmed on live TV.

“He’s a typical hypocrite and a deadly misogynist. He spreads hate and white lies. The man doesn’t have an iota of character. Good people should never listen to him and unduly promote his views,” tweeted a user.

“Problem with limiting debate to the severity of punishment is that vile men can pose as allies. Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is responsible for the most perverse attacks on women’s movements, including pushing blasphemy charges against feminist organizers. Such ppl are enemies, not allies,” another said.

Faridi’s colleague Haider Kaleem also tweeted on the matter, “Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was about to address the media today at the protest against the motorway gang rape case in Lahore when @HUSNAINJAMEEL called him out for his misogynistic comments against women and the @AuratMarch. The channel was also fined by PEMRA for airing his views.”
