One of the most iconic and hit songs of early 2000 Saaqi Saaqi has been added in John Abraham’s upcoming Batla House. The song which was originally picturized on Koena Mitra and Sanjay Dutt, in the film Musafir (2004), has struck the masses as a grooving number. However, Koena is displeased with the remake.
Taking it to Twitter, Koena said, “My song from Musafir #Saaki Saaki has been recreated. Sunidhi, Suhwinder, Vishal, Shekhar combination was outstanding. Didn’t like the new version, it’s a mess! This song had crashed many blockbusters! Why Batla House, why?”
However, referring the Noreh Fatehi, on whom the remake version is picturized, Koena showed some faith.
“PS: Nora is a stunner. Hope she saves our pride,” she wrote.
Batla House is John Abraham’s next release that revolves around the infamous Batla House encounter. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film is set to release on August 15.
