Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi has finally responded to the question of chewing niswar, a kind of tobacco, after his video went viral on social media. As it occurred, Shahid Afridi was attending the defense day ceremony at GHQ, and he was captured on camera while stuffing something in his mouth.
However, Boom Boom Afridi tried to put an end to the controversy, as he was asked about it during conversation with reporters. A reporter asked Shahid Afridi, what he has to say about the viral niswar video.
He rejected the impression that he was chewing niswar, as he replied in a friendly manner, “it was fennel seeds and cloves, which I use as a mouth fresher”. “I still have it and you could try it too”, said Afridi while taking a small packet out of his pocket and offering it to the reporter.
