Veteran actor Shaukat Zaidi passed away aged 72.
As reported, Shaukat Zaidi passed away on Saturday after battling a prolonged illness.
He was undergoing kidney treatment at a private hospital in Lahore.
Zaidi also contributed to the field of theatre by writing dramas for a decade.
He gained significant recognition for playing diverse characters in the popular political satire show “Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain.”
Not many know that before acting, Shaukat Zaidi had a significant presence in journalism from 1970 to 1998.
