Believe it or not! Balenciaga’s newest collection included a tape bracelet with a price tag of $3300!

Clunky new US$3,300 ‘clear sticky tape bracelet’ from fashion house Balenciaga featured in the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

The bracelet in question looks just like a regular roll of clear tape sold at your local hardware or office supply store, however, it is branded with the Balenciaga logo and “adhesive”.

Internet users were appalled to find a regular household item labeled as a fashion accessory. 

one person wrote: “Rich people want to feel poor so bad.”

“Balenciaga has just been dropping the junk drawer every year,” another person added, while another netizen joked: “I just bought one… but it’s from a small indie brand called Scotch.”

One person added that they thought the bracelet was a joke until they “saw the Balenciaga writing,” while another social media user said: “I swear this whole brand is just a big inside joke.”
