Google’s “Year in Search 2022,” has listed the most significant trends in search during the previous 11+ months of the year from various fields.
When it comes to music and songs, Coke Studio 14’s Punjabi song Pasoori surpassed K-pop sensation BTS’ Butter to become the most-Googled song of 2022 globally.
While BTS‘ Butter and Dynamite stand at number 2 and 7 on the most-Googled songs of 2022 list.
The only other band with several entries on the 2022 search list is Imagine Dragons, who have Enemy and Believer at the fifth and sixth positions, respectively.
Meanwhile, only two Indian songs Chaand Baaliyan and Srivalli were among the top searched songs in the top 10.
The list also includes songs from French singer Indila from 2014, Ainsi bas la vida, which is at the 8th spot.
While the Backstreet Boys’ 1997 mega hit Everybody, is at number 9 even after 25 years of its release.
