Board exams of classes 9 and 11 will take place according to schedule!
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday has dispelled rumours that the examination for classes 9 and 11 had been cancelled.
After fake news doing rounds, Federal Minister in a tweet said, “Class 9 and 11 exams will take place according to the timetable of the respective boards. No truth in rumours that they will not be held.”
A day earlier, Shafqat Mahmood announced that intermediate examinations in the country would be held after June 15.
The minister, while appearing in Geo News‘ programme “Capital Talk”, said that the coronavirus situation was getting better in the country due to vaccinations and other steps taken by the government.
“I am very hopeful,” he added about holding examinations.
On the other hand, the students across the country keep requesting the cancelation of board exams.
