Cylinder blast in Karachi’s Challi market leaves one dead, 5 injured

The bomb disposal squad was called to the spot for further investigation.

A cylinder blast in Karachi’s Challi market on Tuesday has left one person killed and 5 others injured.

A blast occurred after a cylinder burst in the New Challi generator market.

The force exerted by the blast caused the goods inside the shop to scatter out on the street.

The wounded were rushed to the nearby hospital.

According to SSP City, the roof of the affected shop collapsed due to the blast and a search was underway after witnesses said that a person was still buried under the debris.

Furthermore, the police official revealed that the bomb disposal squad was called to the spot for further investigation.
