The government has taken control of Movenpick Hotel Karachi for three days.
The move has been made as Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi makes his maiden visit to Pakistan on Monday.
The hotel management in a notification said that all bookings from April 22 to April 24 have been cancelled and all the shops in the hotel would remain closed.
As reported, the decision was made hours after Karachi’s administration announced a public holiday on Tuesday.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi along with his delegation will be in Karachi the Foreign Office said earlier in the day.
