Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in India next month, FO informed on Thursday.
The foreign minister would be attending the SCO CFM meeting at the invitation of the current chairman of SCO CFM, the Minister for External Affairs of the Republic of India Dr S. Jaishankar.
FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahrah Baloch in a weekly media briefing today announced, “Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be leading the Pakistan delegation to the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) being held on May 4-5 2023, in Goa, India.”
“FM’s participation in Meeting reflects Pakistan’s continued commitment to SCO Charter & processes & the importance that Pakistan accords to the region in its foreign policy priorities,” the spokesperson added.
FM Bilawal also attended the last meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in July last year in Tashkent.
