Sindh government has declared rain emergency across the province after heavy rainfall wreaked havoc in Karachi, Hyderabad and several other cities, spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said on Tuesday.
According to the details, the chief minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government has cancelled vacations of all employees.
The Sindh Disaster Management Authority has been directed to start the relief operation in affected areas, he added.

Korangi Causeway has been flooded with rain water, traffic is being diverted from Qayyumabad to Jam Sadiq bridge and Godam Chowrangi to Jam Sadiq bridge. Water has accumulated near Malir Khator Nadi and the road has been closed for traffic.
Likewise, traffic jams have been reported at Kala Board, Anklesaria, Tibet Centre, Jail road, Shafique Mor, Avari Tower, Do Talwar, Maripur, Truck Ada, among other areas.
The heavy rain showers have also suspended flight operations.
Earlier, the Meteorological Department had issued an advisory warning that the metropolis will receive urban flooding due to the heavy showers.
