Malala Yousifzai requests PM Imran Khan to meet with Hazara coal-miners’ families

As the sit-in-protest by the families of slain coalminers enters the fifth day, Malala has urged Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to meet the Haraza protestors.

The protesters have refused to end their sit-in until PM Imran Khan visits Quetta in person.

The noble laureate and activist Malala Yousifzai found herself short of words to express her grief over the brutal killings of Hazara miners.

In a tweet, she said, “I am short of words to express my grief over the brutal killings of Hazara miners. This is not the first time that this has happened. But I hope it is the last. The whole country is in mourning.”

Mourners belonging to the Shia Hazara community register their protest, by sitting with the bodies of slain coal miners, at the Western Bypass area.
