PM Imran Khan is a popular figure on the micro-blogging siteTwitter with 11.9M followers.
And being head of a state’s account we don’t expect any blunders and misquotes shared from it.
However, a day ago PM Imran Khan’s Twitter account misquoted Allama Iqbal’s Poem and left us wondering who operates it!
“This poem by Iqbal reflects how I try to lead my life. I urge our youth to understand and absorb the poem of the great Iqbal and I guarantee them that it will release their great God-given potential that we all possess as His greatest creation Ashraf ul Mukhluqat”, says the caption on the tweet with an image of the poem.

However, the poem shared does not belong to Allama Iqbal, and netizens could not let this blunder pass.
And after facing backlash, the person behind the post shared a clarification in a tweet saying, “I stand corrected – this is not Allama Iqbal’s poem but the message conveyed is what I have stood by and tried to follow and if our youth absorbs this message it will release their great God- given potential that all of us possess as His greatest creation Ashraf ul Mukhluqat”.
