Pakistan has extended the suspension of its domestic and international flight operation ban till April 30 amid coronavirus outbreak.
On Saturday, The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority said that ban on all flight operations has been extended till April 30.
“As per the decision of the Government of Pakistan, the suspension of International and Domestic flight operations as effected earlier has been extended up to Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 2359 hours PST,” the PCAA shared in a tweeted.
However, the special flights will be in operation to repatriate thousands of Pakistanis stranded in different countries due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The national flag carrier, PIA has been operating special flights from April 15 and will continue to do till April 20 to and from Islamabad.
