Pakistan reports a gradual uptick in coronavirus cases with a positivity ratio recorded at 3.79% highest since June 4.
During the last 24 hours, Pakistan has recorded 1,828 Covid-19 cases, marking the third consecutive day when more than 1,700 cases were reported.
As the positivity ratio continued to stay above 3% for the fourth consecutive day it rings bells that the country is about to see the fourth wave of the coronavirus.
According to the NCOC, 48,134 tests were conducted during the last 24-hour period.
The total number of cases in the country has risen to 971,304 and the death toll is 22,555.
A total of 912 people have also recovered in 24 hours across the country.
The latest data shows that there are 36,454 active cases and 2,049 critical cases.
