In the latest surge of Coronavirus cases in Pakistan, two new cases have been confirmed in Sindh taking the province’s total to 15. Pakistan now has a total of 18 confirmed cases of the virus.
Out of the two latest cases, one has been reported in Hyderabad – marking the city’s first – and the second is from Karachi where the earlier majority of the cases were reported.
One of the individuals in Hyderabad had arrived from Syria via Doha, while the second patient in Karachi arrived from Iran via Dubai, reported Dawn.
Sindh government is tracking down the contacts of the patients and seeking out other potential patients who have contracted COVID-19.
