The worldwide popular chatting app WhatsApp has fixed the malfunctions reported by hundreds of users around the world in which the last seen, online status was not working.
The fault was experienced on both Android and iOS operating systems. Just after the fault was detected, internet users took to social media to report their failure to update their privacy settings.
As soon as the messaging app troubled functioning for users, the micro-blogging website Twitter flooded with posts in which people share their annoyance sharing screenshots as well as memes and jokes to about their experiences on the issue. The hashtag #WhatsApp also started trending top on social media.
The problem was noticed in US, UK, Europe, and parts of Asia including India. Some users also reported about connection issues and failure to log in to the app as well. WhatsApp is yet to confirm or deny the issue.
