Ayesha Omar shares an important message to raise mental health awareness

Following the sudden passing of model Anam Tanoli, many celebs have come forward to either share their personal experience regarding depression or to highlight the importance of mental health. People suffering from mental health issues need support before it’s too late and the latest celeb to raise her voice regarding the matter is Ayesha Omar.

The Khoobsurat star stated, “In our language of love and support we often say, “It’ll be okay”. We treat the phrase like a cure all. A prayer that keeps the darkness at bay. ”

She further added, “If you love someone, let them tell you they’re not okay. It’s okay, to not be okay.”

The actor stressed on the fact that we should not blame ourselves for feeling a certain way and it  does not mean you are ungrateful or selfish. It just means you’re going through a hard time, and you just need some help getting through it, and that is okay.
“Be kind. Be gentle. Be Aware. Be not okay, but know that you are loved and that someone will listen.” she added.
