Mahira responds to social media trolls over her viral photos with Ranbir last year

Looks like social media trolls haven’t yet gotten over Mahira Khan’s photographs of smoking with Ranbir Kapoor that surfaced online more than a year ago. The photos was clicked outside a hotel in New York, showing the duo engaged in a conversation over cigarettes, had gone viral last year in September.

Recently, the Raess star tweeted a thank you message to cricketer Muhammad Hafeez and congratulated him after he announced his retirement from test cricket. On her tweet she said, “Mubarak on a great innings and thank You!! I’m so glad I got to watch you play live. Love to you and the family,”

On Mahira tweet to Muhammad Hafiz, a troll replied that “Lgta hai koi khaas kaam nahin mil rha jab say ranveer kapoor waali pictures out hueen.” The troll meant that “Looks like ever since the photos with Ranveer Kapoor got out, she’s not been getting projects.”

To this, Mahira had quite a befitting response. Instead of paying attention and getting offended by what the troll had to say, Mahira chose to correct the spelling of Ranbir’s name.

Ever since their pictures went viral, Mahira has been criticized and rumours of her dating the Tamasha star. However, she later addressed the concerns in an interview, stating that while she usually is a careful, it’s her choice how she prefers to live her life. She had further said that it is very normal for a boy and a girl to hang out.
