It’s time to learn and shine! Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has attended her first day at school on Wednesday morning.
The four-year-old princess was dropped off by her parents at Thomas’s Battersea. The older brother of Charlotte, Prince George, who also studies in South London School, accompanied her.
“She was very excited for her first day to school”, the Duke of Cambridge said while talking to the Press Association.
As the princess reached her school with her parents and elder brother, she was warmly welcomed by head of the lower school, Helen Haslem. The excited parents then took their daughter to her new class.
The Kensington Palace shared a video showing the Cambridges arrived at the premises of school where Princess Charlotte looked slightly nervous as she entered the school’s grounds.
The South London school teaches 560 boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 13. The school charges £6,429 (about $7,900) per term, as mentioned on the school’s website.
Since her elder brother also studies in the same school, Princess Charlotte will receive a sibling discount which will reduce the fee to £6,305.
