Veteran actor Nisar Qadri passed away in Rawalpindi aged 82.
The veteran actor after spending the last few years in anonymity, breathed his last on Monday, Dec 25.
His funeral prayers were offered at the Eidgah Ground in Chaklala.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
Qadri started his career in the showbiz industry from Radio Pakistan back in 1966 and rose to fame for his acting in Pakistan Television (PTV) dramas.
He made his TV debut with the PTV drama serial “Deewarein” in 1966, and has since portrayed diverse characters on TV, in films, theatre, and radio dramas.
Qadri’s catchy phrase “Machis hogi aap ke paas?” in the PTV drama “Aik Haqeeqat Aik Afsana“, made him a household name.
He was honoured with the Pride of Performance Award in 2016.
