We adore Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk in Avengers movies and while many would concur with us, the truth is Ruffalo has had his fair share of criticism on being cast as Dr Bruce Banner aka Hulk. In a recent interview, Ruffalo opened about his disbelief till date that he’s actually the Hulk and that too a pretty good one.
“Even now, “I still keep thinking, ‘They’re going to throw me out of the club. I never belonged here in the first place and they’re all going to find out’,” said Ruffalo while talking to Variety.
The actor also shared that even on the most exhausting days, he reminds himself of being at the Marvel movie set as a superhero, something he had “never” imagined.

“Every time I’m whining like, ‘God damn, how long are we waiting for the setup?’ I’m like, ‘Hey, remember you’re not even supposed to be here.’ Right. I just remember to be grateful because I still can’t believe it,” he added.
Starting from humble beginnings of theater productions and getting a chance to act every now and then, Ruffalo was roped in as Hulk in the 2012 film The Avengers. The move was initially widely criticized by fans who had seen Edward Norton as Hulk earlier but over the course of time, Ruffalo has proved his mettle as the beloved Bruce Banner and enraged superhero Hulk.
