‘Masters of the Air’ Becomes Apple TV+’s Most-Watched Series Launch Ever

The finale of the series will be arriving on the Apple TV+ on March 15.

‘Masters of the Air’ has become Apple TV+’s most-watched series launched ever!

The series which has aired five episodes on the streamer continues to impress fans across the globe. 

The epic war miniseries, despite being launched above other high-profile original titles like “Hijack,” “The Morning Show” and “Severance,’ the premiere of “Masters of the Air,” saw viewership across all of Apple TV+ climbed by 65% worldwide when compared to the previous seven-day period. 

According to the streamer, “Masters of the Air” launched with more viewers in its opening weekend than any Apple TV+ series ever has in its first season.

The OTT platform has also maintained double-digit growth across more than 100 territories.

“Masters of the Air” executively produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, is currently debuting new episodes, with its sixth installment premiering on Friday, February 23.

The finale of the series will be arriving on the Apple TV+ on March 15.

The official plot synopsis for Masters of the Air reads as follows:

From Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman – the producers of Band of Brothers and The Pacific. During World War II, airmen risk their lives with the 100th Bomb Group, a brotherhood forged by courage, loss, and triumph.
