Video Game Fornite Faces Lawsuit for Being Addictive

A Canadian class-action lawsuit has been filed against popular video game Fornite, in Quebec. The complainants on behalf of two teenage brothers have claimed that the makers of the video game have made it be addictive in similar ways like addiction to cocaine.

“The addiction to the Fortnite game has real consequences for the lives of players: several don´t eat or shower, and no longer socialize,” says the lawsuit. It further claims that addicted players are also seeking psychological help to cure addiction.
