Bahria Town management has announced pay cuts for its employees amid coronavirus.
As being reported, for the month of April 2020, Bahria Town has paid its employees a reduced amount of their salaries citing the prevailing coronavirus situation.
According to a circular, those who are paid Rs50,000 or less did not have any deduction, those who are paid up to Rs100,000 had 20 percent deducted while those paid up to Rs300,000 and above Rs300,000 had 40% and 50% of their salaries deducted respectively.
The deduction was applicable to all employees except those working in hospitals.
It was earlier reported that several staffers at Bahria Town’s hospital in Rawalpindi tested positive for the Coronavirus – the number is said to be above 30 – and they all came in contact with a patient who had been infected.
