Canadian PM Justin Trudeau joins hands to support the Shahid Afridi Foundation

We all know how famous is Shahid Afridi for his cricketing career, but since after retirement Lala is active on a philanthropic mission with his heart and soul. Lala who was recently in Canada for a fund raising campaign for tis foundation has achieved milestone.

An annual fundraiser by Islamic Relief Canada was arranged in Vancouver, Canada and at that event, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a request to join in and contribute in the Shahid Afridi Foundation to help make a hospital in Kohat, Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi took to social media thanking Canadian Premier saying, “Thank you Justin Trudeau for supporting the vision of Shahid Afridi Foundation and for your hospitality. Canada is a nation of great people. A special thanks to Islamic Relief Canada, the Pakistani and Indian community of Vancouver for your generous contribution for Kohat Hospital, as together we all are #HopeNotOut”

Boom Boom Afridi’s current tour includes visits to various cities of Canada. He has also been posting thank you notes and tour details on his social media account.
