Coke studio’s renowned Tabla and dholak player Babar Ali Khanna is reported to be beaten up and threatened, that too outside his residence in Lahore. The musician himself posted a video on Facebook, sharing details of the incident. He also explained that he has no idea who those people were and also that he is not in habit of sharing live videos on social media.
While showing his personal state after the attack and the details outside his residence in video, Khanna said, “I have been threatened at my house today, shots were fired at his house, bricks were hurled at the main gate and I was beaten up by unknown people”.
Khanna’s neighbours, who happen to be witness at the spot, also appeared in the video and told, “Eight to 10 men on motorcycles arrived at his house and beat him up”.
Babar Khanna has been part of Coke Studio since its Season 1, his musical journey spans over 29 Years of hard work and dedication to music.
