Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician Dr. Adnan Khan was attacked on late Monday night in London.
As being reported, Dr. Adnan has received injuries to head, face and chest. He was going out for the daily evening walk when two men wearing masks attacked him from behind outside Astin Martin showroom in Mayfair, they punched him on the floor and used a metal bar to attack him.
According to a news source, the attackers knew Dr. Adnan’s schedule and fled from the scene after a passerby called emergency services.
Dr. Adnan Khan was taken to the hospital for treatment after receiving multiple injuries, confirmed ambulance service. Police confirmed that it has received a complaint of assault.
Responding to this incident, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) pegged it as an attempt to sabotage the former prime minister’s medical treatment.
