Pakistan Reports 3,000 Coronavirus Cases for the 4th Straight Day

Pakistan for the fourth straight day has reported 3,000 coronavirus cases and 45 deaths, taking the death toll to 7,942.

As being reported, in the last 24 hours, 48,223 people were tested for the virus, out of which 3,045 tested positive.

The positive ratio of COVID-19 cases has risen to 6.3 percent of the tests conducted in a day.

Punjab has recorded 738 coronavirus cases and 15 deaths during the last 24 hours.

The provincial total has risen to 117,898 while the death toll is 2,960. This is the highest number of daily cases the province has recorded since July 11.

Meanwhile, Sindh reported 1,423 cases and 12 new fatalities.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 323 cases and nine deaths, taking the provincial total to 46,604 and the death toll to 1,355.

On the other hand, Balochistan witnessed 38 Covid-19 infections. The provincial tally has risen to 17,046 while the death toll remains 165.

While, Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan have collectively reported 523 coronavirus cases and nine deaths during the last 24 hours.

Sindh: 1,423 cases
Punjab: 738 cases
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 323 cases
Balochistan: 38 cases
Islamabad: 447 cases
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 55 cases
Gilgit-Baltistan: 21 cases
