An explosion occurred in the parking lot of Serena Hotel in Quetta on Wednesday night that killed three people and injured 13 others.
A number of vehicles caught fire due to an explosion, but the Fire Brigade has successfully controlled it.
The blast took place around 10:30 pm on Wednesday.
Mobile phone footage from the scene showed several vehicles in flames and ambulances rushing to the spot.
Fire and rescue officials have reached the site of the blast and have put out the fire.
Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the area.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has been deployed to investigate the incident.
Balochistan Inspector General of Police Tahir Rai confirmed to Dawn.com that the explosion occurred in the parking lot of Serena Hotel, located on the Shahrah-e-Zarghun Road.
According to the hospital source, two people are in critical condition.
