Shawwal crescent sighted, Saudi Arabia to celebrate Eid ul Fitr on Friday April 21

Saudi Arabia is to mark Eid ul Fitr on Friday, April 21, as the Shawwal moon has been sighted in the Kingdom on Thursday.

The first day of Eid al-Fitr will begin on Friday, April 21, following the sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s Supreme Court announced on Thursday.
