Woman files petition against ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’s last episode in Lahore court

A woman named Maham has filed a petition in Lahore civil court seeking to halt the last episode of drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho from airing.

Reportedly, the lady moved the petition through her lawyer in the Lahore civil court, stating that the drama has put a negative impact on the Pakistani women as it continues to downgrade them in society.

After hearing the arguments of Maham, the court has issued notices to the concerned for January 24, 2020.

Meray Paas Tum Ho’s last episode is coming out on 25 January.

Written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, drama series has drawn all sorts of criticism despite being popular.
