At 72 runs on the board, Pakistan suffered a big blow as Taskin Ahmed got rid of Babar Azam at 15.3 overs. Lack of bounce, inside edge, and on to the stumps, the Pakistan skipper was sent back after scoring just 17 runs.

From the other end, Imam-ul-Haq played a responsible cricket and scored his 19th ODI fifty.

Imam and Rizwan shared 85 runs for the third wicket, but Imam-ul-Haq, who batted aggressively to complete the century, was bowled by Mehdri Hasan Miraz after scoring 78 runs.

Pakistan’s pace attack ripped through the Bangladesh batting line-up, restricting the team to 193 runs. As Bangladesh opted to bat first after winning the toss.

Right-armed pacer Haris Rauf led from the front as he took four wickets while Naseem Shah dismissed three wickets to devastate the Bangladesh batting.
