Cathay Pacific has canceled all its flights between Tel Aviv and Hong Kong until the end of the year over the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Hong Kong’s flagship carrier Cathay Pacific in a statement posted on its website said, “In view of the ongoing situation in Israel, all Cathay Pacific flights between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv from today up to and including December 31, 2023 will be cancelled.”
The airline also urged its customers to continue to check its flight information and announcements for updates on departures beyond December 31.
Cathay Pacific is not the only airline to cancel its flight operations amid the ongoing Israel war on Gaza.
Australian repatriation flights from Israel were also cancelled.
As reported, American Airlines, Air Canada, Air France, Delta Air Lines, Egypt Air, Emirates, Finland’s Finnair, Dutch carrier KLM, Germany’s Lufthansa, Norwegian Air, Portugal’s TAP, Polish carrier LOT, Ryanair and United Airlines are among those suspending or reducing flight to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport.
