Armeena Khan to hand deliver donations, zakat to the refugees from Syria!

Actress Armeena Khan has announced that she will be travelling to Jordan, where over 1.7 Million refugees have fled from Syria, to hand deliver donations and zakat to those in need. The Janaan actress took to social media announcing her charity trip.

We all know about the philanthropic association of the British born Pakistani actress. Earlier Armeena joined hands with Human Relief Foundation and has been actively involved in the charity work.

In an open letter on official site of Human Relief Foundation, Armeena wrote, “After seeing the constant struggle of the Syrian people and other refugees around the world, I have decided to travel out myself personally with Human Relief Foundation to hand deliver your donations to the people directly”.

Also making appeal for people to join in hands for the noble cause and has urged o to donate generously to her cause.

“I will be visiting one of the largest refugee camps, Zataari Camp, which houses over 100 thousand refugees from Syria, Palestine and other places”, writes Armeena.

On her Instagram the actress shared a picture of a Syrian child surrendering to a camera taking it as a gun, Armeena wrote, “This broke my heart. I have been following this conflict for years and I finally, have had enough. It is time to do something. It is time to do what is in my hands”.

Lately Armeena Khan has been busy in raising funds for under privileged Pakistanis by becoming a part of a charity dinner held at the Graham Layton Trust event. Armeena Khan along with attendees and Hollywood actor Art Malik raised more than 100000 GBP for a cause that provides free eye care to underprivileged Pakistanis.
